Oshkosh
Incorporating 24 square miles, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, sits in the Fox River Valley approximately 90 miles north of Milwaukee, WI, and 50 miles south of Green Bay, WI. Oshkosh is a broadminded community that mixes a small-town feel with big city characteristics. It rests on Lake Winnebago’s western shore and is banked on either side by the Fox River and Lake Butte des Morts. The city was named for Menominee Chief Oshkosh, whose name meant “claw”.
