West Orange
West Orange is a township in New Jersey with a population of just over 46,000 people and has lots of interesting things to see. The picturesque Watchung Mountains aren't far and there are two huge parks - the South Mountain Reservation and the Eagle Rock Reservation. The Llewellyn Park was the first planned community in the United States, part of the Romantic Landscape movement and was once home to Thomas Edison. There are also mass media and telecommunications companies in the area. Sprint Nextel and Verizon Wireless all have towers dotting the region, and Verizon has a central office here. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions, while the thriving nightlife of New York City is just a short trip away.
