Ormond Beach

Sitting on the Atlantic Ocean, Ormond Beach, Florida, is in Volusia County, situated at the northern end of Daytona Beach. John D. Rockefeller, the famous oil industry multi-millionaire, and Henry Flagler, a well-known railroad magnate, once called Ormond Beach their home. Known as the "Birthplace of Speed", early automotive pioneers used to test their motorized inventions on the hard-packed beach.
