Alexandria, Virginia is a small city located just outside of Washington D.C. It was originally surveyed and settled in 1749. Since then, it’s been prominent in much of America’s history, being part of the slave trade, the occupy movement, and a hometown to many famous heroes. Today, the town is filled with interesting architecture, historic sites, and beautiful scenery.
