La Crosse
La Crosse, Wisconsin, lies on the banks of the Mississippi River. The largest city on the western border of the state, La Crosse has a population of just north of 50,000, with a good portion of these residents going to University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, a highly rated university that attracts some of the best and brightest minds in the state.
