Located in Marietta County on the south side of Ohio, Reno is an unincorporated community and home to over 1,200 people. The community sits along the shores of the Ohio River and West Virginia is only a stone’s throw away. Reno has a distinctly suburban atmosphere with quiet streets and cul-de-sacs, large lots, and large houses. Although the location is prime real estate, the cost of living in Reno is lower than the Ohio average. Most of the residents are older, middle-class families, and the economy has a strong service industry. The Marietta State Forest Nursery is located in Reno, and the Wayne National Forest makes up the community’s western boundary.
