Known for being a very successful logging community, the town of Brantwood is known now as a community in the southern portion of Price County, Wisconsin, which is a part of the greater town of Knox. Brantwood calls this town home along United States Highway 8, as well as the Wisconsin Central Railroad, which is still an active novelty today, even though it has been sold from its original owners.
This community was settled in the late 1890s and it gained popularity when the railroad came through. Now, however, this town is better known for being able to enjoy some peace and quiet, with a plethora of different restaurants, lodging and transportation opportunities all around it. Throughout the greater town of Knox, there is about 400 people, so the community itself is sure to be able to give you some rest, relaxation, and alone time.
