The town of Braddyville, Iowa is just down the street from the boarder of Missouri and makes for a great home base when visiting the area. Not too far away from many of the area's attractions, restaurants, and lodging opportunities, this neighborhood is filled with friendly people and a relatively long history.
The town of Braddyville was named after James Braddy, who founded the land in the early 1870. Never having too many people in the town, it now is the inhabitance of a population that is over 160 people, spit into about 75 households, and 45 different families, which are all a mixed of children, non-families, singles of both male and female genders, and married couples. However, this is not too surprising, since the town is only 0.53 square miles.
