Wick Park is a historic neighborhood on Youngstown Ohio's north side. One of the most upscale neighborhoods in the city, it was once home to the wealthy industrialists that owned the steel mills. Here you'll find the beautiful Wick Park, as well as streets lined with Victorian homes. There are also mansions that are still inhabited, while others were bought by Youngstown State University. For example, the Pollock Estate had been restored in the 1980s and is now the Wick-Pollock Inn, home to the university's president. The George J. Renner Jr. House is a notable place to see in the district and is on the list of National Register of Historic Places. If you're visiting or living in Youngstown, this is a fantastic place to use as your homebase.
