Located between Highway 201 and Highway 5, just Northwest of Los Angeles, California, Sunland is an area for families looking to have a settled lifestyle, but still be able to commute in to Los Angeles as necessary. This area is considered “The Valley” - in fact, it is deep in the valley, even further north than Van Nuys and Sherman Oaks, in a valley of its own called the Tunjunga Valley.
The city of Sunland is nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains and the school systems and more affordable housing is a major draw to the area. When those living in Los Angeles need to get away, or, more significantly find a location affordable enough to buy a home and raise a family, Sunland is often the place they go. The weather is wonderful, the people are friendly and there isn't a shortage of things to do.
