St. Louisville is a town in central Ohio. Located in Licking County, Ohio about 40 miles from Columbus, you will find many things to do and see in this area. Licking County was named for the Native American word for salt licks that were in the area. It is a fairly rural community and is considered part of the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area. Newark is the largest city in the county and is approximately 8 miles away. The National Trail Raceway is located in Licking County and hosts NHRA races at different times during the year. Longaberger Basket headquarters is also located in Newark, since it has been family owned and operated since its beginning. The headquarters is a large basket shaped building and you can take tours through and see how the baskets are made. You cannot talk about Ohio without mentioning the Ohio State Buckeyes, and Columbus also is the home of the Ohio State University.
