Located on the west side of Missouri, Concordia is one of the largest cities in Lafayette Country. Nearly 2,500 people living in the city, and the majority of the population consists of younger families. The cost of living is much lower in Concordia than in the rest of the state, making it a popular option for new area residents. Manufacturing and healthcare are the two largest industries in Concordia. The city itself has a small-town urban atmosphere, while the surrounding areas are pure country with farms and pastureland as far as the eye can see.
