Mizpah is a town that is great for those who enjoy the outdoors. Mizpah is a city that is a part of Koochiching County, in the state of Minnesota, and it is an excellent place to get away. This is a beautiful area, which is great for families, friends, and couples alike who are just looking for a retreat to take them back to nature.
The name of the town, Mizpah is the Hebrew word for “watchtower” and otherwise, the town is known for its lack of snowfall and so it is a great place to go if you enjoy warmer weather. According to the history of Mizpah, the last recorded, measurable snowfall was in 1935. However, that does not seem to bother the population of about 56 people, throughout about 28 households, and making up about 15 families throughout the 3.03 square mile area of the town.
