Pasadena is the ninth largest city in Los Angeles County and is located on the North East side of the city. The Rose Bowl Stadium hosts the UCLA football games and the New Year’s Day Rose Bowl game takes place here each year. Pasadena is also home to the Tournament of Roses Parade that shows off the beautiful blooms in the middle of Winter. It’s also known for its scientific and cultural institutions, including the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), the Jet Propulsion Laborartory, the Pasadena Playhouse, the Norton Simon Museum of Art, and the Art Center College of Design. The residential side of the city features simple and humble bungalows, to historic homes, and Millionaire’s Row, that features many sprawling and grand homes built by wealthy heirs of famous brands like Wrigley’s gum, Proctor and Gamble, and Anheuser-Busch.
