Lambsburg
The small town of Lambsburg, Virginia, is perhaps one of the best stopping points for anyone travelling on Interstate 77 North. From this stop, visitors are only within 6 miles of an authentic alpaca tour, a cheery farmers market, the Blue Ridge Music Center, the Devil Den Nature Preserve, and the Historic Sidna Allen Home. Even more, Lambsburg is home to one of the very best rest stops along the interstate. The Virginia Welcome Center at Lambsburg is a newly renovated stop that is complete with pristine public restrooms and a variety of vending machines offering food and drinks. This makes Lambsburg one of the first places experienced by guests as they enter the state at mile marker 0, and the last Virginia stop before they leave for North Carolina.
Because of the area's ideal location to so many tourist attractions in the area, Lambsburg can itself serve as a great place to stop for the night and enjoy the very beginning of Virginia. The area is also home to a portion of the Hawks State Forest.
