Millersburg
Millersburg, Kentucky, is a small town located in Bourbon County. The motto of this rustic town is “History, Hospitality, Opportunity”. The area was first settled in 1798 by Maj. John Miller. Millersburg quickly became a booming factory and trade center. In 1893, Millersburg Training School was opened in the town. Decades later the school was renamed Millersburg Military Institute. The school operated until 2006.
Millersburg and its surrounding areas are well known for their agriculture and livestock. Bourbon County has produced more award-winning thoroughbred horses than any other area in the world.
