Lithonia
Situated just east of DeKlab County, Georgia, Lithonia is a metropolitan area that is home to a population just shy of 2,000 people. The thriving community that surrounds the city is home to 15,000 people. This city, whose name means “town of stone,” is at the heart of the granite quarry in Georgia and sits at the base of Stone Mountain, a granite dome. Today, the city has such attractions as a prominent Baptist megachurch, a plethora of dining options, and entertainment.
