Bethesda

North Bethesda is a neighborhood with a lot of history, both as far back as when America was considered the New World, and still vibrantly apparent today, being a direct suburb of the nation's capital, Washington DC. Now, this is an affluent suburban neighborhood, with many unique and interesting things to do, including its own lodging, places to eat, transportation, and places to play; along with interesting architectural designs, and a side of Bethesda Maryland that is all its own. The area of North Bethesda started out as archaeological evidence presumes, with the different tribes of Native Americans, the Paleo, the Archaic, and the Woodland making this their home, along the Potomac River. In order to get here and set up their home, the Native Americans had to travel along the ancient route, which is known to us now as the Seneca Trail. Yet, the only known recorded history that we have of the beginnings of this of the area is from the early colonial era. The rest of the history, although rich, probable, and easily backed by the most advanced research, is still only a supposition. Yet, it is what gives this area its character.
