Manchester
Once home to the Pennacock Indians, Manchester, New Hampshire eventually grew to become what is now the largest city in New Hampshire. Early industry included shoe and paper manufacturing, and the city is bisected by the Merrimack River, which functions to aid the transport of goods and services to and from the city. Brick buildings and large trees line the streets of Manchester, and the city is home to a number of parks, playgrounds and beaches. Manchester is often named as one of the most livable and affordable city’s in the nation. Its northern New England location makes it centrally located to a number of popular historic sites, and it’s small town feel and stunning natural setting make it a great place to vacation year-round.
