Aberdeen
Aberdeen is a rustic and industrial town located in northeastern South Dakota. Nicknamed the "Hub City of the Dakotas," for its four different railroad systems which, when looked down on the city from above, resembled the spokes of a wheel converging at a hub, it's a truly unique town brimming with old-time charm.
Today, only one railroad system is still in operation, but the spirit is still very much alive. Downtown Aberdeen is quaint with several "mom and pop" shops which keep the city thriving. Receiving national acknowledgment for its service to youth, and for its fantastic educational offerings and public facilities, Aberdeen is a breath of fresh air.
