Elizabethtown
Elizabethtown in the state of Kentucky is a small city with a population of almost 30,000 people. It is the tenth biggest city in the state. This delightful town enjoys an energetic population and has done so since it was established in 1793. The land was established by Colonel John Hardin, responsible for taking the original 30 acres and dividing them into streets and lots. The city was named after his wife: Elizabeth. Soon the town grew with the construction of the railroads. Today this town is commonly referred to as “E-town” by locals and is noted as one of the two biggest towns that rests in between Nashville and Louisville.
