Cuyahoga Falls
Nestled into the outskirts of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, is part of the greater Akron-Cleveland metropolitan area. The city gets its name from the Cuyahoga River and multiple waterfalls that rim its boundaries. Theses waterfalls are the focal point of Cuyahoga Falls' history. Industrial mills harnessed the water power, and what started as a village then turned into a town finally became the city known as Cuyahoga Falls today. Originally heavily industrial, residential and commercial areas have been growing in recent years.
