Lowell
Situated in heart of the nation's history of the Industrial Revolution, is the city of Lowell, Massachusetts. It has a population of 100,000 people and is on the shores of the Merrimack River just northwest of Boston. It has a series of canals running through the city, which were created to import goods during the booming Industrial Revolution. It's a water city with historical landmarks conveniently close to Boston.
