Sebring
Sebring, Florida is located in Highlands County, and its population was around 10,500 as of 2010. This is not only the county seat in Highlands County but is also the main city within Sebring’s Micropolitan area. Sebring frequently is referred to as “The City on the Circle” because of the famous Circle Drive which sits in the center of the Downtown Historic District.
Sebring’s main claim to fame is the Sebring International Raceway, which hosted the Formula One United States Grand Prix in 1959. Today, this raceway is the home of an annual race, the 12 Hours of Sebring.
There are eight different public schools from The School Board of Highlands County, and each of these serve the Sebring area, including at least one school in each age group. Sebring is well-educated and is actually home to two different institutes of higher learning: South Florida State College and Azure College.
