Snellville
Snellville is a city located in Gwinnett County of Georgia about 18 miles to the east of Atlanta. The city has a population of about 18,000 and students in the area attend Gwinnett County Public Schools. There are several parks within the city including Snellville City Park which provides opportunities for relaxation while enjoying the beautiful weather in the city. It is an area steeped in history surrounding a long tale of James Sawyer and Thomas Snell, whose family is still prominent in the area and the reason for the city's name.
