Lake Mary
Lake Mary, Florida is located in Seminole County, and is considered a suburban area of Orlando and Kissimmee. In 2007, Lake Mary was rated number 4 on CNN’s list of best places to live. Though the city was not incorporated until 1973, Lake Mary’s history goes back to the 19th Century when a small village was created. Largely an agricultural area rich with citrus production, Lake Mary is now a successful residential and commercial area, and a welcome respite from busy Orlando for many. With a population of just over 13,000 in 2010, Lake Mary continues to retain the small-town charm it has always had, though the convenience and attractions to the area are plentiful.
