Cape Coral
A master planned community in Lee County, on the southern Gulf Coast, Cape Coral, Florida, is a town of over 155,000 full-time residents, and tourists swell those ranks all through the year. Known as a “Waterfront Wonderland, ” the city has over 4,000 miles of waterways to be explored. The city of Cape Coral also has more miles of canals than any other city on the entire planet.
There is a whole world of things to see and do here in Cape Coral. Surfing, sunning, skiing, people-watching, and more can be done on one of the area's beautiful white sand beaches. Long-time older residents have seen an influx of younger people move in the area in the past two decades, and around 20% of the population are seasonal residents. But this far from a tourist trap as the main thoroughfares in town have a wide range of businesses, retail establishments, and places to eat.
